This meeting is the Annual Parish Meeting and is open to the public and press.

The Annual Parish Meeting is not a Parish Council meeting. The Local Government Act states that every parish must hold Parish Meeting a year. This meeting must be held between 1st March and 1st June and proceedings must not begin before 6pm.

The Parish Council reports to its electorate on its activities over the last year and there are usually reports from County and District Councillors and perhaps from any voluntary or local community groups.

The Parish Annual Meeting is your chance to come along and see what the Parish Council have achieved over the past year and what we are hoping to do going forward.

We are combining the Annual Meeting with the public consultation over the West Row Neighbourhood Plan

If you care about growth and development within the Parish - now is your chance to have an influence.

Please don't ignore this opportunity.  Current proposed developments are going ahead because West Row did not have a Neighbourhood Plan in place.

We are putting that right.  Right now.  But it takes time.  Time is of the essence.  

 We have to act now and putting together the Neighbourhood Plan will involve the support of an Action Committee consisting not only of Parish Councillors, but concerned residents.

 This is the start of us taking some control over what is built - and where.   What we will accept and what we categorically will disagree with.
